Maruoka castle was built in 1576 by Shibata Katsutoyo.
If you pay 300 yen, you can enter inside the castle tower.
The first thing I found inside the castle tower was steep slope stairs.
This rope helps us to go up.
This is second floor.
And there’s stairs again. It seems steeper than first one.
This’s 3rd floor.
You can see the whole city below your eyes.
The roof tile were made from stone.
This is the museum.
It’s not so big, but variety treasures such as old money, painting, armor and helmet, matchlock guns are displayed.
There are some kinds of cherry blossoms in the garden.
There’s restaurant and souvenir shop.
The KAMON(Family cres) goods like towel, key charm, bag and T-shirts are sold here.
you can’t get them at any places except here. If you are big fan of history, you can’t miss it!!
Please enjoy taking a walk around Maruoka castle♪
